On April 26, a traffic accident occurred in a Wenjie M7 vehicle in Yuncheng, Shanxi.

Ms. Ma, a family member of the deceased, said that on April 26, while her brother was driving a Wenjie M7 vehicle on a highway, it rear-ended a high-speed watering truck and caught fire. Her brother and her husband and son who were sitting in the back seat of the car were all killed.

Ms. Ma said that she learned from the video that after the front of the car caught fire, the door could not be opened and the airbag did not deploy. At noon on the 28th, AITO Automobile’s official Weibo issued a statement saying: We are deeply saddened by the casualties in the accident and express our deepest condolences to the victims. According to the national platform data access management regulations, it was learned that the vehicle was traveling at a speed of 115 kilometers per hour when the accident occurred, the airbags were deployed normally, and the characteristics of the power battery pack were normal.

AITO Auto stated that it is currently actively cooperating with the local traffic police department in the accident investigation, will provide all necessary data to restore the cause of the accident, and provide all possible support to the family members. According to previous reports from Zhengguan News, on April 27, netizen Mu Mu (pseudonym) posted on social media that her brother was driving a Huawei Wenjie M7 at high speed in the Xiaxian section of Shanxi Province and rear-ended a sprinkler truck in the overtaking lane. It later caught fire, killing her husband, brother and son who had just turned 2 years old.

Mu Mu told reporters that the accident occurred at around 4 pm on April 26. She was not at the scene at the time. By the time she saw the family members who were killed, it was already 8 pm. The videos of the accident scene were all taken by netizens.
